Winter Activities
From the house in the hamlet of Noussan, an array of ski resorts lie within
a short drive. You can reach the resort of Valtournenche in 20 minutes. From there, you can also access both Cervinia and Zermatt by lift.

Torgnon is even nearer and is located directly on the other side of the valley in front of the house and is a lower altitude family resort that enjoys a lot
of sun.

Monterosa is a massive ski area with 3 valleys which can be reached
in a spectacular hour's drive via Col du Joux. It has been described by
the Sunday Times as one of the best ski areas in the world, yet due to its limited hotel accommodation is not used by tour companies and is little know outside Italy.

Pila is located above the city of Aosta and offers 360 views across the high Alps. Courmayeur is located at the upper end of the Aosta valley at the foot of the impressive Massif du Mont Blanc. Nearby there is also the resort of La Thuile with its connection to French slopes, as well.

Everywhere in the resorts, you can savour good Italian and Aostan food and, if the weather permits (as it generally does!), you can eat on the terraces enjoying the warm Italian sun and the magnificent blue sky.
