Summer Activities
High energy activities, peaceful and quiet places, sounds of nature in the Matterhorn valley, the Valtournenche Valley has it all. This valley, the home of the 'alpinismo' where the local Jean-Antoine Carrel first attempted the ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865, offers infinite possibilities for walks and excursions.

Discover the mountains and pastures where you can have fantastic hiking and picnics overlooking the peaks.

You can also ski in the summer season on the Plateau Rosa glacier above Cervinia or golf at the foot of the Matterhorn. Torgnon has a 10 km mountain bike track and there are lots of possibilities for energetic mountain bikers in other villages. There is a climbing wall and outdoor pool in the village of Antey-Saint-André.

From Noussan, you can reach the main Aosta valley in 20 minutes to visit vineyards, castles and the historic towns of Aosta, St.Vincent and Châtillon. Turin is an hour's drive away, Milan can be reached in two hours by motorway, as can Genoa and the beautiful Ligurian coast.

There are many different restaurants in the area, agriturismo restaurants serving traditional regional food and small, elegant restaurants where you can taste fresh and genuine dishes in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The crisp mountain air and magnificent scenery offers a lovely vacation.
