The Village of Antey St-André
The village of Antey St-André is located in the lower part of the Valtournenche valley at an altitude of 1080 metres and is in a delightful location but is just 9km from the Châtillon motorway exit and 20km from
the Matterhorn and the resort of Cervinia. Its microclimate makes it a popular holiday destination in the summer. It is also a popular destination thanks to its proximity to the ski resorts of Torgnon, Chamois, Valtournenche, Cervinia and Zermatt.

From Antey, you can enjoy a particularly attractive angle on the Matterhorn (or Monte Cervino as the Italians know it) whose magnificent might means that it gives the impression of being wedged between the valley walls,
a vision that as early as the XIX century captured the imagination of adventurous travellers. Antey belonged to the Cly barons until the XIII century, when it came under the control of the Savoy family. The parish church, dating back to Romanesque times, is dedicated to Saint-Andrea;
it has a double lancet bell tower, overlapped by a spire, and incorporates
the remains of a castle tower also belonging to the Cly family.

Also of interest is the 'rue du pain perdu', an ancient aqueduct, dating back to the XVI century that carried the water from the Marmore river to the fields in the central area of the Valley, and whose magnificent arches against the mountain are clearly visible from the valley facing windows of the house.

Antey is equipped for outdoor sports with a climbing wall, river rafting, football pitch, floodlit tennis court, fitness trail and outdoor swimming pool.
It is also the landing base for para-gliders from high up above
La Magdeleine. During the winter, cross country trails totalling about
15km are prepared so you can enjoy cross country skiing.
